Compatibility issues with Limit Login Attempts

Even though this plugin is WAY out of date, people still seem to use it and it causes numerous issues with logins and wp login flow. Probably need to integrate some of the same features but until then just need to make compatible.

Seems to be completely taking over error messages and replacing with its own ... ugh
