Initial setup and signup plans:

When a user is first signed into open99, they will undergo a screening process. Users will be able to log in to save their files and settings to the cloud.
Signup screening questions:

1. Email signup

2. Or... Users can sign up with a third-party social platform listed below

   • Gitlab (maybe)
   • Github
   • Discord

3. Username, icon

4. mode (in no particular order):

   • Sudo mode: aka developer mode. Many developer settings are present, the console/terminal has js support, things are logged to the console, etc.
   • Normal mode: For non-devs. Console is pretty darn obsolete, code editor is not present (only textpad), package manager is renamed to app store, sources are fetched from the 'featured' section, (no unofficial package repos) etc.

5. Age, for analytics (optional)

6. Plans for what they're going to do with open99 (optional, only while in beta)

7. Checkbox for if the user wants to receive email updates/notifications for changes made (maybe in a later version, I don't really want to implement an email third-party service thingamajig yet but ik i'll have to eventually)

8. Link to their email containing the sign-up link confirmation
   perhaps users should receive the signup link before inputting all of this information. hmm.

Platform will be called 'open99 cloud'
local accounts will also be supported
Settings sync will be a thing and stuff
This will be accomplished using cloudflare workers, and the repo for these will not be public. It will also use AWS

File sync is TBD, reason is that I don't want an insane amount of files on my server
They will probably be zipped on the client
Maybe a password so that I can't steal your files(?)
