REI can't shift click items when Buffer is on

After adding the latest version to 1.15.1 (now i know its meant for 1.15.2, but lets be honest no one is playing on it yet, and it should work fine on 1.15.1, which it does) REI cant shift click items into crafting tables.
how to reproduce: add the latest version of buffer and rei, attempt to shift click items into a crafting table with REI.

note: i dont know the technical side of modding, since i cant, for the love of god, get a enviorment running in the first place but it may be connected to a config override from buffer? just an idea
