Gitpay is designed to post a bot comment on a GitHub issue when you import it, but only if certain conditions are met: the issue must be from GitHub, the environment must be set to "production", and the GitHub bot access token and other required environment variables must be configured. The comment should mention that the issue was added to Gitpay and include a link to the Gitpay task, signed by Gitpay Bot. If you don't see a bot message, it's likely due to one of these reasons: the environment isn't "production", the bot token is missing or invalid, or there was an error posting the comment (which is silently logged and not shown to users) (source). If you expect a bot message but don't see one, check that Gitpay is running in production mode and that the GitHub bot access token is set up with the right permissions. To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do? Good | Irrelevant | Incorrect | Verbose | Hallucination | Report 🐛 | Other |
