Compile on a Mac

When trying to install on macOS Big Sur, the compilation fails with the error below. I haven't been able to solve this. I have tried creating a Makevars file and reinstalling gcc. Any advice would be appreciated.

When I try to install it on our laboratory workstation, a PC, I get the following error. I hope you can help with at least one of these errors. I would like to use your software.

Error: Failed to install 'OptiLCMS' from GitHub:
lazy-load database 'C:/Users/Student/Documents/R/win-library/3.6/prettyunits/R/prettyunits.rdb' is corrupt
