`openFile: resource exhausted (Too many open files)` on a 1500 file project

It works fine if I only inspect a 500 file part of the project. Well, even for 500 modules the graph is too large to be comfortable to navigate, so I guess the issue is not that important.

graphmod 1.4.4
> fd '\.hs$' | wc -l
1428
> fd '\.hs$' | xargs graphmod -q
graphmod: packages/common/src/Kafka/Producer/Extra.hs: openFile: resource exhausted (Too many open files)

Running without -q I get a lot of warnings about not found modules and nothing interesting.

I'm using MacOS 11.3.1
