Port and make this concept work with 2.9inch e-Paper Modules and others

2.9inch e-Paper Module is having the Same pins , but no SD card, wifi.
I really like to port this work and make it common for Waveshare EPapaper modules.

I am lost at how to port this with a Arduino as the interface.
Efforts to remove  ESP8266 WiFi didnt work.
