This project seeks to understand how corona virus omicron strand compare with other strands of the same virus.
With that in regard, an analysis task will be undertaken over the data from the country that has suffered from this strand the earliest, i.e. the data coming from South Africa as the day of the creation of this projet.
The data can be found in COVID-19 Data Tracking API.
In adition to the main goal of the project. Another undertaken tasks are:
- Interpret the data against current local media headlines (as of the date stated above).
- Locate the results on the context of other countries, i.e., analyse how the country South Africa stands regarding its level of commitment against the COVID-19 as of health policies indexes and vaccinations levels up to the day of the analysis.
