Chat replacement app in the style of an ~mid 2000's phone.

If you're looking for a more "modern" feel, try my Smartphone app.

  • Time Display – Shows current IRL or track time (left-click to switch, right-click to send to chat)
  • Now Playing – Displays currently playing song (left-click to change scroll direction, right-click to send to chat)
  • In-Game Chat – Right-click any message to @mention the sender
  • Sound Notifications – Alerts for join/leave events, @mentions, or all messages
  • Impact Effects – Shattered glass on light impacts, destroyed screen on heavy impacts
  • Message Filtering – Hides spam from other apps
    • Example: PLP: running version 1.21, 2-60-3-True-3.3-0.9-3-2-8-5-0|C1XTZ
  • Customizable Settings – Extensive options to personalize your experience by opening the settings via the cogwheel

License

This repository is under the GNU GPL v3 license. What does this mean?

What you can do:

  • Modify the code
  • Use the code privately and commercially
  • Distribute the code (including in other projects)

What you are required to do:

  • Make the source code public (which means you cannot obfuscate the code in any way)
  • Maintain the same license for any forks/modifications you do
  • State what you have changed (this includes a simple "I changed the images and numbers")

What you don't get:

  • Liability
  • Warranty

This may seem like a lot, but the general gist is: if you're going to use it, make sure people know where it's from, or if you're going to modify it, the modifications are public. The easiest way to do this is to create a Fork of the repo/file you want to use/modify

Any questions or suggestions feel free to message me here, on Discord or on Twitter
You'll find me under @c1xtz and @C1XTZ respectively
