I'm really happy to see the BarcodeScanner example here.
Currently, none of the existing libraries are actively being developed or bug-fixed, and the example would probably make it much easier to write something yourself.
Hopefully, it will work on Windows as well.

@peruchali Thank you! It's just time that is blocking it right now. I'm hoping to have another play this week and then I need to workout how to bend Windows to support this

It is planned but life just has a habit of getting in the way. Hopefully 2026 will allow me to spend some time on it
