New-Tab Blocker is a chrome extension that blocks specified websites from opening new tabs. This blocks popup ads that open in a new tab.

There it can be installed on almost every browser, including Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave...
Notable exceptions are Safari and Firefox which are not supported by this extension.
Because most mobile browsers do not support extension, you need a special browser.
