You can set up the CMSSW working area with the Setup.sh script that is available in the repository. Be careful to choose the correct branch (default is EDMdev).

You should create the CMSSW area as usual (with "cmsrel"), and then cd into the src/ directory. From here, you should run the commands contained in Setup.sh.
