The current doc is misleading. ExecuteQuery should return exceptions. ConnectorException in executeQuery would lead to projection unlink (as if object wont exist) - im not sure whether this is even OK, so I am not mentioning this directly in the doc.
while e.g. ConnectionBrokenException simple returns error without unlinking projection.
