Wow, this was exhausting, right? At the time of this writing, working and integrating with WAYF is not an easy task. Reward yourself with something sweet on your hard work. Good job.
I'm sorry. I don't know what doesn't work but all I can do is tell you is, that there will be a way to fix your errors. Try and do some debugging and looking around for the error you're experiencing. Please consult the google, look at the FEL, contact the simpleSAMLphp forum.
- Make sure you have a correct metadata from an Identity Provider. Go the the identity provider's simpleSAMLphp installation and copy their metadata in php form, to your saml20-idp-hosted.php file.
- Make sure you have your logging level set to DEBUG and check the log file while in development. It is goodto change the log method to file and then you will see the results in the log/ directory of simplesamlphp directory.
- Make sure that every change you do, you write down. It is super nice to have a log of what you did, how you did it, and in what order you did it, to solve some problem. Chances are you will experience it again later.
