Copper Mail 0.3.1-alpha

Copper patch release of Copper mail 0.3.1-alpha
This patch release mainly target to fix the bug #168 to enhance security state of the solution. This bug fixes has introduced new read only user for ldap server and the customer can configure this read only user username and password. Further it has introduced auto generated import.ldif file to create two test users as test and copper for customer testing proposes(Password will be copper for both test users). It is advised to remove those test users after the testing process is completed.

Lanka Software Foundation Copper team is pleased to announce the alpha release of Copper mail 0.3.0-alpha

New release contains huge number of enabled user related features including calendar, tasks, notes etc... As well as installing mechanism has some modifications hence you have to run only one script file to install full system.

Copper contains all the major components of an email solution
- Postfix : A modular mail transfer agent (MTA)
- Dovecot : Secure open-source IMAP and POP3 server (MDA)
- ClamAV : Antivirus software
- Rspamd : Spam filter
- Group-Office : Web client for users
- OpenLDAP : Directory service which authenticate users
- phpLDAPadmin : Web application for administering Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) servers.
Copper has newly added webmail called Group-Office which is modern and has many features which need for a groupware.
