Interactive Historical Storytelling Web Application
This web application delivers an immersive storytelling experience focused on Czech castles and legends. Built with modern web technologies, it features interactive 3D models, adaptive video streaming, dynamic maps, and responsive design. Users can explore castles via a Leaflet map, toggle between 3D and image views powered by Three.js, and engage with animated models and HDR-lit scenes. The interface supports mobile and desktop, with touch-friendly controls, fullscreen toggling, and persistent user selections via localStorage. Video content uses HLS and DASH for cross-browser compatibility, while lazy-loaded images and WebGPU rendering optimize performance.
