Due by March 3, 2025•17/17 issues closed# Objective Combat System - Can fight an opponent, and win or lose. - Ability for player and/or opponent to add notes - Given rewards based on performance - Functionality for items implemented - Begin adding initial audio and visual elements Tasks: Mainly programming this sprint, but this is the sprint we will begin to implement audio and visual elements. We expect systems of the game to be working (as a prototype) but not the game as a whole. Implement rhythm game system into battles, which can influence rhythm game in determined ways. Begin replacing placeholder art with art and elements to sketch out the style. Ideally we narrow in on a visual and audio style by the end of sprint 2.
Due by February 16, 2025•17/17 issues closed# Objective: Rhythm game system. - Visual indication of the progress of a song. - Visible notes. - Player feedback about successfully hitting notes. - No need for art or sound assets to feel good yet. Can use placeholders/grey boxes. - Testing visual styles - Tasks: Each programmer will create a rhythm game prototype for the first week. We will use the best ideas and work towards implementing the ability to add notes in game for creating the system we move forward with. Production lead will work with external help to get ideas for visual style, theming, and character.
