ActivityTestRulehas been deprecated in favor ofActivityScenarioRuleand this makes necessary changes to migrate.However, a trick was used to speed up typing, accessing the activity and changing the value of the edit text instead of manually typing on the keyboard, incrementing a lot test times, and also make tests more reliable (maybe because of time share limitation)
