🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v18 or higher)
• MongoDB
• npm or yarn

Installation

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/SocietySync.git
cd SocietySync

2. Install Frontend Dependencies

cd Client
npm install

3. Install Backend Dependencies

cd ../Server
npm install

4. Environment Setup Create a .env file in the Server directory with the following variables:

MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_uri
JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret
GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=your_google_client_id
GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET=your_google_client_secret

Running the Application

1. Start the Backend Server

cd Server
npm start

2. Start the Frontend Development Server

cd Client
npm run dev

The application will be available at http://localhost:5173
