📥 Getting Started

Requirements

• Windows OS (Since the application is packaged as an .exe file)
• ngrok (An active ngrok account is required for setting up the server)
• ngrok premium (To make a ngrok server without the ngrok server warning site) (recommented) -internetRouter port forwarding on port 5000

Running the Application

1. Download the .exe file: Download the precompiled IP Logger .exe file from the releases page.

2. Configure the Link: Launch the .exe file. The application will generate a unique ngrok link.

3. Share the Link: You can now send the generated ngrok link to your target. When the user clicks the link, their IP address will be captured and logged.

4. View the Logs: Once the link is clicked, the IP address and metadata will be logged. You can access the log file to review the captured IPs.

🔧 Usage

1. Launch the .exe file:

   • Simply double-click the .exe file to run the application.

2. Configure ngrok:

   • The application will automatically create an ngrok link for you. Ensure that you have ngrok properly configured and entered the ngrok auth token---- you can find youre token here: https://dashboard.ngrok.com/get-started/your-authtoken

3. Log IPs:

   • Once a user clicks the link, the application will capture and log the user's IP address in a log file.

4. Review the Logs:

   • You can open the log file to see the captured IP addresses and related information.

🎯 How It Works

1. The application uses ngrok to create a secure, public URL.
2. When a user clicks the generated link, their IP address is logged by the application running in the background.
3. The captured IP addresses are stored in a log file.
4. You can open and review the log file at any time to view the captured IP addresses.
5. it also automatically runs a localserver with ngrok on youre ip, for example on: http://127.0.0.1:5000
6. BUT because of the ngrok generated Url trough youre token ITS accessible worldwide
