I made a minor change, that basically makes it possible to use a different colored non-filled circle if more events exist on a particular day, and the calendar use the event style no_fill_large_indicator. I took the liberty of changing the event colors in the sample project to be randomly generated, to make it easier to see the difference, you can just ignore that if you want.
