I don't remember where it was, but we had a discussion about potentially using protovalidate instead of defining our own parallel thing. I still think we should seriously consider doing that rather than this. |

AEP 202 (PR) refers to the Format field in
google.api.FieldInfo. This adds the Format field to the AEP version.
