I fixed almost all pylint errors (mostly with disable=missing-function-docstring -- let me know if it's right to you). |

The remaining MegaLinter errors come from the code unrelated to this PR. Mostly: string formatting, repeated blocks of code, false ROOT/RooFit errors from pyright. |
