Nico, según lo charlado te dejo otra opción para acomodar la botonera y el badge para la fecha de vencimiento.

Compa como sugerencia habria que pasar el cambio de la variable al método, para no recargar la vista y sea mas legible. La funcionalidad esta bien. Mientras dejo el aprobado
