Lichess QR Code Generator

A Chrome extension that generates QR codes for Lichess games, allowing players to easily share and continue their games across different devices.

Installation

1. Download the Lichess QR Code Generator extension
2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/
3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner
4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extension directory

Usage

1. Start or join a game on Lichess.org
2. Click the Lichess QR Code Generator icon in your Chrome toolbar
3. A popup will appear with the QR code for your current game
4. To share the QR code:
   • Hover over the QR code to reveal the share icon
   • Click the share icon to open your system's share menu
   • Select your preferred sharing method

Scanning the QR Code

1. Use any QR code scanner (including your phone's camera)
2. Scan the generated QR code
3. The scanner will open the game URL in your browser
4. Continue playing from where you left off

Technical Requirements

• Google Chrome browser (version 88 or later)
• Active internet connection
• Permissions:
  • Access to Lichess.org
  • Active tab information
