This PR addresses the following Issue/Feature(s):

  • Internal ticket GA-1004499

Summary of changes:

  • This changes the materialization of intermediate models from ephemeral to table to reduce compute load on end models. This pre-release is designed to try and fix a customer's outstanding issue--if it doesn't we will move toward more complex solutions.

The materialized models section needs to be updated with the new materialized count following this change.
