A member referral and outreach platform for Paso Robles Food Co-op.
Paso Robles Food Co-op (PRFC) is a community-owned grocery cooperative in Paso Robles, California with 376 members working toward a goal of 500. The cooperative focuses on local and sustainable food while supporting regional farmers and producers.
PRFC Connect helps the co-op track and manage member referrals. Members receive personalized referral links to invite friends and family. Staff can monitor referral activity, track conversions, and identify engaged members through an admin dashboard.
The platform will expand to include contact groups, allowing members to organize contacts for events like Chamber of Commerce meetings and Local Bites gatherings. Messaging capabilities will enable targeted outreach via email and SMS to improve member engagement.
The PRFC Connect team consists of 18 Cal Poly students. Over the course of about 9 months, we work as a team to deploy this web application.
