There is this project, android-notifier (http://code.google.com/p/android-notifier/). It is used to forward notifications from your Android device to your computer. And its great in every sense, except its desktop part works is written for Mac OS. There is also an android-notifier-desktop project (http://code.google.com/p/android-notifier-desktop/), but it's a piece of Java.

So here is Cyborg, a pure Qt multiplatform android-notifier client. Enjoy!
