Hi

Could you add a license file for this (see one of the other .lic files in the data repo). If you cant work out the checksums don't worry, I can add those for you, but we need to know that the data is freely redistributable etc before we can host it in the data repo.

Thanks!

Tim

Hi Tim,
Question, how could I make the lic file?
Is there any standard of that (or tools)? Is Qgis have those kind of feature?
or I just can make it from the sample that you told me (one of the other .lic files in the data repo)

Hi Fadii

Yes just take an existing one (e.g. another shapefile based dataset) and copy it so that its name matches your dataset. Then edit the file updating all the contents to match your dataset as you see fit. Then I will generate checksums for you (if you have linux or mac you can calculate the checksums by doing md5sum ).

Regards

Tim

I will using http://md5converter.com/ or http://www.md5.cz/
Shall I create md5 from what? the file names?
example: bali_desa.shp = E6AADBB06B370F82C840D396ACDAECA2

Hi

You should rather be generating a checksum. This web site looks like it will do it for you : http://onlinemd5.com/

You need to generate a checksum for each of the shp, shx and dbf files, and add the resulting number into the checksum part of the license file for each of the shp, shx and dbf sections.
