Lethality System and Moderation

Mingde Yin edited this page Dec 26, 2019 · 2 revisions

Comrade uses a dynamic system to determine how strict it should be in executing moderation powers, called Lethality.

This enabled or disables certain manual and autonomous features of Comrade's moderation system.

Lethality functions in two principle regimes.

Global: Enables and disables features at various levels

0: None

1: Kicking enabled

2: Message Filtering for threats enabled

3: Message filtering for all users enabled

4: Purge enabled

Per user: Subjects users in THREATS list to stricter conditions; subject to limitation by global lethality

0: No restrictions

1: No voting of any form

2: Messages filtered (relaxed)

3: Messages filtered strictly

4: Loss of ability to ping

Threats List Each individual user can be added to a Threats list, in which their local lethality level can be adjusted. This enabled very granular control of how severe you want moderation to be on the server.
