  • Ported to Android 4.0 to support software based settings menu
  • Added hours list view activity of EPG data
  • Added primetime based list view activity of EPG data
  • Added EPG Timeline view activity to EPG data supporting dynamic loading of data

Missing features:

  • Due to port to Android 4.0 I had to remove custom titlebar with loading progressbar, any replacement would be nice
  • Icons to new views/activities

Nice, pretty much the same woirk as i did in http://rsiebert.github.io/TVHGuide/
I talked to John via hangout a while ago. Unfortunately he didn't want to merge my changes, but stick to his version. Maybe you have more luck.

Too bad they do not want to connect with your changes. Your application a lot better than John. Your satisfies me than him and have more options. Develop your application and the best somehow put it in Google Play. Add colors EPG for your application. This cool feature.I support the use of your version and I'll be helping translated into Polish language.

@rsiebert
I've had a look at your application. It looks like you had quite the same idea but you've finished your work more propertly than the checked in version of mine. I've developed it some months ago, therefore I didn't see your pull request at that time
To reduce redudant development of the same application I propose to rebase my work and create a new fork of your repository, adding the some features of my version to your code base (colorizing epg data, prime time epg data view, ...). Afterwards it would be very interesting of publising the work to google play as a fork of THVGuide (v2). Do you agree?

@PiterEL
Wouldn't it be a nice idea to provide apk download of tvheadend client directly within tvheadend server webpage?

@toggm I‘m already working on the colored epg :-) So this feature will be available within a few days. The other features would be nice to include. Regarding the play store. I want to release my version as a new app within the next two week. I talked to john and he suggested to use a more distinguished name then tvhguide2. So first I need to create a new repository, before we can combine our efforts.

@rsiebert
Sounds great. So I should make a new fork of your future repo and work on that branch. Could you notify me when you've created the repo?

@toggm Sure. I'll write you the name / location of the new repo here.

I have created the new repository TVHClient (https://github.com/rsiebert/TVHClient). I have also released this app on the google play store. It might take some hours until the app is available.

@PiterEL
Check out the TVHClient repository There are some new strings to translate.
