Hello, thanks for the pull request, but it has been many years and I've moved on from Haskell and no longer maintain this library. |

no problem, i had gathered that from looking over the project, but I figured it'd be worth opening the PR anyway just so future people looking at it (including if anyone ever has time to take over the project) would be aware of the work. |

Set TIOCEXTL ioctl to make sure the serial port doesn't accidentally get shared. This is the same method used by other tools such as
screenandminicom.
