🧍 Who I am
I’m Giuseppe, a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam since September 2024.

🔬 What I am working on
I am currently developing Bayesian methods for sample size planning, model selection and approximate inference in the field of Bayesian graphical models. I am also a member of the Bayesian Graphical Modeling Lab, where I collaborate with other researchers on various projects related to graphical models and their applications. In very few words, I constantly explore probabilistic and principled ✨ escape routes ✨ through the complexities of Markov random fields.

👀 Beyond my current research
My research interests are diverse and include: (longitudinal and cross-sectional) social network models, network models for biological and gene expression data, Bayesian methods for estimation, hypothesis testing, calibration of informative prior and non, posterior inference. Next to this, I love coding, code optimization, and tackling optimization problems.
