Idea is to enhance AE benchmarking by adding some comparisons with more traditional algs. So far I've implemented "simple thresholding" and "super trigger cells (STC)". There are two threshold variants:
lois 1.35 transverse MIPs whilehiis 2.STC1is the 'idealized' version of STC where the energy is treated as originating from the 'sub-cell' that contributes the maximum to the trigger cell. InSTC2, no position information is retained -- the energy is shared equally among all four of the constituent cells.The most relevant comparison is
