We have seen an unfair advantage given to home school teams that can cease academic work during the competition season and focus solely on the competition in Vex. Some additional language would be needed to prevent just such an unfair advantage. |

Given the wording, "all students must be able to join teams without a per student cost borne by the students or their families" serves to prevent rent-extractive teams from existing by just claiming to be unions of personal households.
