🧙‍♀️ Matilde Varela

(Software Engineering Student at ISEP)

I am a 3rd-year Software Engineering student at ISEP with a strong interest in frontend development, UI/UX, web and software development, fullstack development, mobile app development, and database management.

I have experience in problem-solving and teamwork under pressure, with excellent communication skills. I am familiar with all major phases of software development, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

I am also knowledgeable in team collaboration methodologies, such as Agile and SCRUM.

I plan to continue my academic journey with a master's degree.

🧚Matilde's Coding Journey

Truthfully, my journey into coding began with my fascination for video games. I was always amazed by how lines of code could come together to create immersive experiences for users. This fascination likely influenced my strong interest in frontend development, as I recognize how poorly designed user interfaces can negatively impact user experiences and, ultimately, a business's success. Throughout my academic journey, I have been exposed to numerous technologies, which have broadened my skill set and deepened my passion for software development. While frontend remains a key area of interest, I have also developed an appreciation for backend and full-stack development, database management, and exploring the fields of web, software, and mobile application development.
