Works for me, is probably helpful.
For what its worth @777arc, scrollWheel does pan in frequency without modifiers, but only if the FFT size overextends the window.

I had no idea there were hotkeys, mainly because the scrollwheel doesn't do anything unless you hold down a modifier, so you should make sure new people know it by putting the guide somewhere they wont miss it
