An Android road safety application which lets users get colour-coded routes according to danger index, driver mode ability, access to emergency help section and other features. Tech used: MapMyIndia API, Google Places API, Firebase.
- Know the danger index of the location you’re driving in currently.
- Also, get to know the danger index of the five closest areas from your location.
- Danger index has been calculated on a scale of 10.
According to danger index, routes have been coloured as: Green (1-4), Orange (4-7), Red (7-10)
When driving mode is enabled, all incoming calls are blocked. Of course, except your emergency contacts. Rest of them receive a text “Hi, I am driving at the moment. Kindly leave a message or call again later.”

User app: Users can report issues like broken streetlights, poor road conditions etc by simply clicking a picture, geo-tagging and uploading it. Authority App: Only authorities have access to this database of posts and can click on the 'mark as resolved' button to close these issues.
