The light blue matches the primary blue hue a bit better I think.

I do not have a very strong opinion, but what do you think of using one of the pyfar colors also used for plotting?

The colors already used (i.e. probably already taken) by the theme can be found here:

Pyfar red would follow our acoustic plot logic : #D83C27

To be honest, I'm not the greatest fan of red. It's already reserved for the "danger" section (warnings within the docs etc.), see the link I posted above.
To me it feels like red is a bit much for everything one hovers over. But that's of course very subjective.
