Storage Server 2.11.2
What's Changed
- Storage server now listens for IPv6 connections (as well as IPv4), so that it can handle requests made over Session Router's private-network IPv6 addresses (added in the 1.0.2 release). Note that this does not require or use public IPv6 connectivity: this IPv6 change is only for enabling storage server access via Session Router's new IPv6 internal addressing.
This release is not yet required; it will become required alongside a future version of oxend as part of making Session Router required across the network. Service node administrators who have already upgraded to a Session Node release that includes Session Router are encouraged to install this update to aid with Session Router network testing.
Upgrading
As usual, upgrades for Debian 11+ and Ubuntu 22.04+ are available from our APT repository. Static binaries for other users are available below. Note that we no longer support Ubuntu 20.04 (including in the static binary) as that distribution is now well beyond its Ubuntu support lifetime. Service node operators still running on Ubuntu 20.04 should upgrade to 22.04 or 24.04 as soon as possible.
