I tend to have a single claude code buffer open at a time and use tabs to separate workstreams, similar to how people would use 1-2 claude code sessions per tmux pane. If there's a visible buffer, it's likely that I am talking to it, so I thought this might be a good "dwim" behavior similar to how we send commands to the only claude buffer in the dir.
I'm open to gating this behavior behind a configurable variable if it clashes with other folks' usage.
PS: Thanks for authoring this package, it's been great as a daily driver!
