Ubuntu trusty (14.04 LTS) has a different conf.d directory, in /etc/php5/apache2/conf.d. Created conditional in params class.

I don't use anything other than RHEL and Fedora myself, could you provide a link to documentation explaining this need to run a command for each PHP module which should be available to mod_php5? It seems a bit weird to not have that done automatically when the module gets installed, and maybe something should be done to support proper removal too.
