What does the name mean?

The name is actually an abbreviation which stands for "Php Is Not a Bottleneck Anymore".
Pinba was named so by its original creator - Andrei Nigmatulin.

'Pinba' also happens to mean 'rainbow lorikeet' in Ayapathu according to Webster, but that was figured out way later.
