No need to use cmake 4.0.0 - it forces to compile cmake from source or use snap on Ubuntu

Please follow the README 'Installation on Linux' section. You don't need to build the cmake, just install the runtime from one of the Releases, you don't need to use snap version.

The Ubuntu is the most supported Linux distribution, it is constantly builded with each PR.
Don't need to change the build setup

Simple cmake version to install

Can You compare performance 3.25.0 againts 4.0. All developers work using 4.0 so it is not obvious to make such step.

@mwlasiuk mwlasiuk changed the title Revert cmake required version to 3.25.0 for easier Ubuntu workflow and modify build instructions Remove old info.txt build instructions and merge it to README.md build section Dec 28, 2025
