Dairy products are foods and items created from milk, they also typically have plant-based alternatives.

Bottled milk is an item used in food crafting. It also allows players to store milk without wasting an iron bucket.
To craft bottled milk, place a milk bucket in the crafting bench. Crafting bottled milk always returns the bucket.

Plant milk can be used in crafting food items as a bottled milk substitute, but currently cannot be used to create butter.
Plant milk can be crafted with 8x peas, oats or rice around a bucket of water. The plant milk recipe, like bottled milk, returns the bucket back to the player.

Cheese is a dairy product, both edible on its own and used in cooking.
Cheese comes in two varieties: soft cheese and hard cheese.
To make cheese, the player needs to place bottled milk in a cheese mold. The type of cheese the player gets depends on how long the milk is left in the mold.
- If left for 12000-72000 ticks, mold turns milk into Soft Cheese.
- If left for 72000+ ticks, mold turns contents into Hard Cheese.
Hard and soft cheeses have different hunger and saturation values, and are used in different recipes.
- Soft cheese gives 4 points (2 shanks) of hunger, with a 0.5 saturation.
- Hard cheese gives 5 points (2.5 shanks) of hunger, with an extremely high 0.9 saturation.
Both types of cheese are used as an ingredient in several foods.
